It starts like a revelatory dream: lightning, heavy rain, exploding light poles, massive chunks of hail. Then a woman burning, standing still.
But it's real.
This is something of a combination episode -- cloning seems like an X-Files topic but prophecies and planetary alignments are more Millennium.
Holy cow! We have Brad Dourif as Dennis Hoffman, a wannabe helper for the Group, who actually does seem to know his stuff. "Good to be working with you again" he says, and Peter Watts rolls his eyes.
C.C.H. Pounder returns as Group pathologist Cheryl Andrews.
The "Iron Lung Man" is Morgan Woodward in his final appearance. A familiar face from westerns and TV, he was on two episodes of the original Star Trek: "Dagger of the Mind" and "The Omega Glory".
