1x17 Walkabout, written by Chip Johannessen and Tim Tankosic, directed by Cliff Bole.

I remember the very things I do not wish to; I cannot forget the things I wish to forget.

A different opening: a chaotic locked clinic with much psychotic violence to self and others. We see that Frank is one of them, trying to punch through the glass security window. Something is wrong with him.
He goes missing for a while but eventually Catherine and Peter Watts find him. We learn more about his previous breakdown: five years earlier he would go missing and used a pseudonym: "David Marx". Frank has amnesia and everyone worries it is happening again.
As his memories return, Frank, Peter and Bletcher trace him to a sketchy clinical drug trial. We have several deaths and a shadowy mastermind behind the tests.
Notes:
This confirms something I wondered about earlier: Frank is aware that Jordan may have part of his gift.
Catherine must always be worried about him. He must be doubting himself.
The drug trial uses "Proloft", meant to suggest "Zoloft".
Two familiar faces from many TV appearances: Zeljko Ivanek (The *X-Files) and Gregory Itzin (24).
