This was a memorably spooky ABC Movie of the Week. Going over the list I remember a lot of these. Skipping over most of the TV pilots, some notable entries:

The low budget typical of these movies is aided here by the use of real Coast Guard rescue helicopters and real boats. It's a good cast:

Kim Novak was a huge star of the 1950s: Bell Book and Candle (1958), Pal Joey (1957), Picnic (1955), Vertigo (1958).

Ed Lauter - King Kong (1976), Magic (1978), The Rocketeer (1991).

In this story young Lt Haig is a playboy and flippant about serious things. Older Lt Commander Pagnolini takes the Bermuda Triangle seriously and thinks the devil is at work. They find a boat adrift with all sorts of eerie and inexplicable phenomena. We go through the old double bluff of rational explanations before those all fall apart.
Despite the short 74m running time, the pacing in the middle seems slow. Our guy and gal ignore the inexplicable terror close to them and hit the rum bottle pretty hard. Strong comeback for the big finish.
As far as I know the only home media for this title was a French DVD. [Later: other sketchy DVDs?] The entry at Internet Archive vanished but there are several versions available on youtube. Amazon Prime Video has it.
I found an online version that had been enhanced and upscaled to 1080p. I'm naturally skeptical of those efforts, but this looked rather good. Amazing what they do these days.
